Sam and Joey are on the trip of a lifetime, looking for adventure in Canada's Yukon territory. What they accidentally find threatens every human life on earth. It is up to an ex-military security guard from Charleston, South Carolina, and a hematological oncologist from Wichita, Kansas, to find the answers and find a cure before it's too late. It's a race against time that takes them halfway around the world and puts them in danger every step of the way.
Poetry had been a voice to the emotions and feelings that I kept hidden. The things I wanted to say but couldn't. The hard conversations, the joy, the love, the sadness, the raw things that would have required me to be outwardly vulnerable beyond my surface. So, instead, I would journal them into words on paper. I have kept a lot of these hidden since my first poem many years ago but now have decided to let the words ripple and echo outwardly and share this unseen side of me.
This is the story of Jack. A little fish, in a little pond, on a little farm in a little town. One day, with the help of a magical dragonfly, Jack goes on a BIG adventure.
Kathleen Steed Moore lived through many wars. World War I as a child, World War II as an adult, and the personal battles she fought within the walls of her home. Despite all she faced, she was able to play a key role on the British homefront during World War II, giving comfort and hope to the troops when they needed it most. "Katie's Memoirs" is a story of an incredibly strong woman who loved and fought with all her might and finally found happiness in the most unexpected place, and it's all true.
